I was wondering if anybody knows what the difference between the vector style rims on early 84/85 hot air gn & 86/87 t-type is?
Is there any difference at all? Depth? & what color schemes did they come in?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

84 were painted black 85-6-7 were not. they are all the same rim and center cap.

Factory 85 GN rims.

The Vector wheels I have are the same backspacing as the factory and are 8.5 wide. They originally had a black coating that was starting to come off so I painted them to try and even them out. Didn't strip them all the way down so they don't look perfect.

I have owned both over the years and they were identical besides the black paint. Both sets I had were stock wheels. '85 GN wheels & '86 T-type wheels. Both are 7" wide. Here is some nice info:

That was a good link. I like how the rims are compared to each other.
