I've seen these threads over and over again, but I jsut want to get an idea of you you guys think of it.
92K 86 GN w/ t-tops that have non GM weatherstripping (they have wind noise and some leaking)
Stock turbo - 3" DP - magnaflow 3" single exhaust
30#injectors - red's 93 chip - adjustable fuel reg - upgraded fuel pump(the one from Poston)
3K lock up converter - 2nd gear slipping on trans
Paint looks like a driver - front has several rock chips and there are a few rust bubbles on driver's rear quarter and hood is starting to lose luster.
Stock wheels w/ new Dunlops
Vacuum brakes
Interior is good shape minus a peeny sized hole in driver's bolster
Has knock, boost, water temp gauges
 
$4-5k. if there are no major rust issues or major body work needed.

Higher miles indicate that there might be a need to replace various sensors, timing chain, rear main, etc...

Slipping trans = rebuild ($2-3k to do it right)

Paint job sounds like average driver. To get it nice ($3-4k for paint and body)

I think that this a reasonable assesment for what you've described.
 
thanks guys, sadly, that's about the range I was thinking...if I really wanted to sell it and get money I guess I could wreck it real good and insurance would give me more than that! :P ...but I wont. BTW...I just kbb.com-ed it and it said fair was up to 20k! Holy crap, where are these numbers coming from?!
