His kids smile through out the video said it all.

His father was proud.

Damn man. There is another one of him at Maple Grove raceway in PA running a 10.29 @ 134.

That thing is awesome

In some of the other videos this car is running 9's......I really like my Buick but having a Gbody with a turbo ls in it would be a lot of fun!

Cool videos. My son is building a '92 RX-7 (right hand drive) with a turbo'd 5.3, 6spd, and a Cobra 8.8 diff with 30-33 spline axles. (forgot which ones). He is doing all the fabrication and he is doing a great job thus far. Not sure I want to ride in it, though.

Cool. Slow the !! down. That's one thing I can't wait to carry my dad for a ride. Always telling me about all the fast cars he had.. I think it will be a big surprise. Has never been in a turbo car. Let him see what 249" will do. Ha. Ha

My dad and I used my GN a lot going to his doctor appointments because he could get in and out easy. This went on for about four years before he passed. I always drove easy with him in the car but one day I had to jump out in front of traffic and stayed in it longer than I really needed to and he absolutely loved it!

He said "Son your going to push the crankshaft right out of this SOB!" this has always stuck in my mind because he really didn't know much about turbo Buicks.

I like this video because in a small way it reminds me of time spent with my Dad in the Buick.

That's great to have. My dad really does not care about racing but maybe it will help but he still does like classic cars.

That is good ole' Leroy Brown. Man named Michael Brenin owns it iirc. It was built by Denmah at SloppyMechanics, then sold to him. He put some bad ass parts in it! I think he ran 8s with it, but I can't remember.

I picture the dad talking about how his fast cars used to pull the wheels up over coke cans and how he used to do the $100 trick on the dashboard.
