i dont post much here just mostly read but i thought a few of you would enjoy this. this is my 03 fwd impala with a t67 on it, its a 3.8 series 3 motor if anyone was wondering.

I think I'd put some kind of jet coat on the header. That cant be good for it.

Well either the things rich as hell, or super lean!I don't think the headers are supposed to glow like that! It's definitely COOL!

The car is neither rich or lean if you check out the a/f at the end of the video its damn near perfect. We have a feeling it has to do with the cam, but it is sorta acting like a antilag system. Hopefully it doesn't have a ill effect thus season but who knows.

Well, I checked the stats at end of video, and nothing on A/F! All I know is something with very high temp would be making steel glow red!

PS - the glowing headers are normal.
The same thing happens with the Grand Nationals.
When my father installed champion heads, intake and cam on his car and broke it in at 2500 rpm for 30 minutes (something like that) his headers also glowed.
