Vin decoded

Hi, I am new here and I am in the process of buying an 86 t type. I just want the VIN decoded in order to see what this car was optioned with and also what color it was. I appreciate any and all info you guys can provide. The VIN is

The Vin Doesn't tell those options

You'd have to look at the cowl tag for that.

The only thing Vin tells is engine trans, manufacturer, year built etc.

I ran a car fax on it if you want it I can send it to you.

As for options there is a GM research thru GM of Canada which will tell you all that.

search for it on the board it will tell you their number etc. it's like $50.

Also you may be able to find a build sheet on the car hidden under seats or panels, or hood liners (search the board for possible locations) The build sheet would have all that info on it as well. Also the trunk sticker (if it's still there) has all those codes as well. There is an article on decoding Option codes on gnttype.org
