Hello All,
I am looking at TB and when i ran the VIN it shows registered in 2004 with 1300 miles. The car has high mileage. The owner is being honest saying the car was stolen in 94 but recovered later that night in perfect shape, but she is saying that the carfax maybe crazy because her father passed(who owned the car since new) she retitled in her name. Also saying it has a clear title.So i am confused, because even though it was reregistered in 04 wouldnt you think carfax would follow the vin? So i get a clear carfax, but only going back to 04 when registered, i have no record of even when the car was bought. Any insight? Is it that easy to retitle the car with a new vin?
