I didn't go, but heard on the radio this morning that Vince Neal, former Motley Crue leadman, played in Dallas last night at Gilley's, and when it came time for him to play a song that he actually plays guitar in, the got ticked off because the sound guy would not turn his guitar up, so he quit playing, jumps off stage, and jumps on top of the sound board and stomped around on it, then punched the sound guy, breaking some teeth...
He was allowed to leave but is facing several charges from the Dallas PD and Gilley's sound guy.
What an idiot, they mentioned his had several altercations the previous night because people were throwing beer bottles at him, then a bottle fell off the drum riser and he thought someone had threw it, so he quit playing and walked off stage....then after someone told him what happened he came back and apologized to the crowd.

I think its time he hung it up and retired from live music.

Vince Neils a total idiot.... 2 years ago I got a few free tickets to go see a small metal reunion type of tour at a local fairgrounds of all places. Was a senior in HS in 1989, so I was real big into metal (still am :D). It was Quiet Riot, Skid Row, Jackyl and Vince Neil.
Quiet Riot was good, Skid Row was surprising good without Sebastian Bach, and Jackyl just kicked ass :D. Vince Neil was the "headliner", and by the time he came on, there weren't a whole ton of people left (Maybe 500-700?). He must have been pissed about it because he kept swearing at everybody and making hand gestures like "F**k all of you losers", etc. etc. The slob skips 3/4 of the lyrics of every song and wasn't happy that maybe 25 people were filling in for him, lol. He finished his set but you could tell he was pouting and ready to throw a temper tantrum :D.
Saw Motley Crue in '98 or so and Vince was skipping half of the lyrics there too. It's probably for the best since his voice sucks so much. At least Megadeth was there to keep the night from being a total loss, lol.

Megadeth rules!, My favorite band, too bad Dave can't play guitar anymore..he should continue singing and writing. I've seen them several times in the last 5-6 years before his wrist problems began and preventing him from playing.

Really?! I haven't followed them much over the last few years... Sad to hear that. Always thought Dave and Marty Friedman were one of the best guitar duos ever.

Actually Dave is playing guitar again from what I understand. Go to www.megadeth.com
They have a new album out and are out on tour right now!
From their site:
With their new CD THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED hitting stores this week (Sanctuary Records) and its first single and video “Die Dead Enough” impacting airwaves, MEGADETH has announced dates for a U.S. tour. The 22-date trek by the iconic hard rock group kicks off October 23 in Reno, NV and wraps November 20 in Minneapolis, MN. Joining group founder and frontman DAVE MUSTAINE will be Glen Drover (King Diamond/Eidolon) on guitar, James MacDonough (of Iced Earth) on bass and Nick Menza returns to the group on drums. The video for “Die Dead Enough” made its debut on MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” this past weekend and the song is spinning on Active Rock and Rock radio stations nationwide.

Of his touring partners for the “Blackmail The Universe Tour,” MUSTAINE says, “James is a guy with long hair and a lot of tattoos and is an animal on bass. We like that kind of danger on that side of the stage.” As for Drover, MUSTAINE calls him the “perfect fit,” and welcomes back Menza, who was in the group from 1990 through 1997.

After re-releasing eight MEGADETH albums earlier this past summer, MUSTAINE returns with THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED, which Revolver described in a four-star review (October ’04) as “Megadeth’s most vengeful, poignant and musically complex offering since 1992’s Countdown To Extinction…Throw in political themes, apocalyptic lyrics…it’s clear that Megadeth are not just back, they’re paranoid, pissed, and motivated to destroy.”
