Volts

A friends car is only getting .08Volts at his 3 bar map...does this mean he has to go to the TPS to get the 1.6....????

Power to MAP is 5 volts. It is on the gray colored wire. Black is ground. Center pin on plug... green wire.. will read 1.6 key on. Meaning it has 5volts on gray wire.

He saya 4.9 on the Gray Wire.

He has a GNX look alike dash. I did once get the power from the TPS like you stated...

If he has 4.9 on gray wire.. then he better have 1.6 on green wire. If not, start disconnecting things from green wire..something is shorting it out.
