How do you order a 5 gallon can straight from VP? I looked all over there website but there was no place to order. Or should I get M-1. I know this has been covered before but I cant find the thread.

Thanks Jason

I'm interested too. The local shop that carries racing fuel around here won't get any until April.

I heard Torco does orders if you're not set on VP.

You might want to ask this place if they do mail-order I heard they do too.

Thanks bishir. No I am not dead set on anything. I just want clear methanol. After buying denatured one time, I am tired of paying 15 bucks a gallon for it. Not to mention pouring out of those metal containers isnt the easiest thing to do. I'll call them on monday

Thanks Jason

When I first got my Alky Control kit,I went to their site and clicked on the distributor link, and emailed the local VP office..They sent me a list of who sold it and what quantities

Also which one is better to buy? Razor can you shed some light??
M1™
M1 Racing Methanol has a 99.95% minimum purity - the highest purity available in the U.S. With M1, engines run cooler and are less subject to corrosion. VP uses only lined drums which prohibit rust, corrosion and metal deposits that can contaminate fuel delivery systems. Recommended for all methanol-legal racing applications.

NEW! M3™
Like M1, M3 Racing Methanol has the highest purity available, but with an extra boost. With special additives, M3 offers a wider range of jetting options, making jetting easier and more consistent. With better tuning and cleaner, more efficient combustion, M3 makes more power than any standard methanol on the market and passes water test as well.

I'm guessing M-1 as M-3 has additives? I never knew buying methanol would be so hard...

Exactly.

Jason, no info on the M3. I have lots of customers who use the M1 successfully.

One customer used the M3 and said the motor went richer.. but no other feedback.

SOMEBODY.....must be injecting the ....VP M3 METANHOL...I would not want to miss out on some thing good RAZOR what about you do some testing for your fans;)

I sent an e mail to vp fuels ..the technical director responded....use m1 as it has a better cooling effect in the cylinders.....but i have read on other t b board that they where told to use m3....i would advise our board members to contact vp....check thier web site and e mail them

you know i have tried both mets...vps m1 and industrial..i could never see a difference except price..VP M1 WAS 2 1/2 TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN 99%PURE INDUSTRIAL GRADE
