Where can you find a VSS sensor. Is there an aftermarket brand that can replace the original?? The car is 87 GN with analog dash

Not sure if still available new. However, they were used in literally millions of vehicles. From Vans to Regals, and so on. Even the N/A Regals have them. See this post on what it looks like and where the pickup head mounts (note the color note):
