Just a quick picture progression of my frame off restoration. Completed in 6 months. Basically it was a body donor swap that I took the donor car down to frame and then swapped over a running drive train from my old rusty car.

Bare frame was boxed in under the doors, reinforced with a shock tower and rear bumper cross brace. Then powder coated.

All suspension pieces were power coated. I later swapped the upper front control arms for speedway arms.

Rear end drum brakes were rebuilt, S10 cylinders and 2 long shoes. Rear TA cover added. Everything POR15'd. All new brake lines from master cylinder to all 4 corners used. All new emergency brake lines too.

Front suspension installed on car. Body still in the air. New tires and aftermarket aluminum GN rims.

Rear end installed under the car. Drag bags to limit travel, HR Sway bar, 1" drop springs and 10" wide aftermarket aluminum rims used.

Interior added. Lots of trim work carbon fiber dipped also. Sill plates, A pillars, B pillars and all T Top trim. Not to mention gauge holders etc.

Outer fenders, front header, grill and all headlight trim installed. Front mount intercooler with a turbo 6 painted on in black radiator paint. Hartline fiberglass hood and front bumper.

Final install of lots of accessories. 4" fresh air intake, intercooler piping. Kenne Bell front bumper with dual air inlets.

Close up of intercooler peaking thru the grill with the logo showing.

To driving it on a car show on the 2nd time it was out of the garage.

Obviously I skipped a lot of work and a lot of steps. If you have questions on anything feel free to ask.

Save any comments till the end when I'll show it in it's first car show. Any comments or questions I'd be happy to hear or answer after that.

Pretty common item really. Got those from Intercooled88 in the for sale section on here. Just had them powdercoated red is all.

Thanks. Good garage companion. Haven't had the heart to tell him yet that he doesn't get to ride in it. He had a good knack for finding where I was taking a photo of and making sure he was in it.

Incredible journey Vince! It looks great and you make it look so easy. Now you can rest up for the next 6 months. Lol

Thanks George! 6 months work in like 20 pics. Doesn't tell much of the story of how much work it was. So much wasn't shown. I can see why guys have their cars apart for years and years.

Cut in GNX Fender Vents recently. Hydro dipped them in Carbon Fiber too. Inner fender trim rings were dipped too. Turned out good in my opinion.

pics of the vents. I'll get some of the trim rings and the custom relocation brackets I fabricated.
