I ordered a part from a paying vendor about a month ago. Vendor stated they had what i needed. Numerous calls and messages I have yet to see the part or tracking number. Out of the numerous calls talked to him about 2xs. Both times it was stated that the part was sent out and you should receive it soon. I am out over 200 at this point with no tracking # or even call backs. Am I wrong to ask for a refund?
I feel if i didn't haggle with you on price money was sent and received i should have my parts and or at least communication. Ive sold and purchased many parts here. Shit happens i get it but a month? maybe even a call? Please left me know if I'm wrong or being too hot headed.. Thanks

name names... sometimes a little public shaming is all it takes to get things going.

of course, someone will chime in with the usual "it's a part time job. the market for this stuff isn't that big.. dude's got a full time job and 5 kids, yada yada yada... but your situation seems like it's past that stuff being a good explanation...

A month is plenty of time to get you parts...and if they said they sent it and lied that's BS I wouldn't deal with that vendor again...

Novaderrick I plan to,I just wanted to be sure I was being reasonable. I feel if you choose to be a paying vendor you must make this like a job.Besurred it was more I sent a bunch of shit out so you should recieve it. Which to me is also bs bc a vendor should keep track.ofvwhat is what, just like he does when the $ comes in. Unfortunately for me it was a last resort vendor.

I.am going to.do a full.write up tonight in the feed back section. Ill link it here..

I personally have a short fuse when it comes to vendors jerking me around. One of my biggest peeves is when they charge my credit card and then tell me they are on back order. If the seller cannot provide a tracking number, then I get REAL upset. Sorry to hear your dilemma. I would personally ask for a refund. I'm sure they are going to claim that it has already been sent and that it must have gotten lost, etc. You are probably going to get pretty irate before they accept your request for a refund at this point. I have been jerked around by some vendors, and have had great service from others. All you can do is stay away from the bad ones and support the good ones.

Name dropping is not the best thing to do on the Internet unless you have no other choice to get action. The reason I say that is because it just turns into a mud slinging contest. I've had crappy experiences with vendors that have many loyal customers. If I sling mud on one of them, then all the "nut huggers" are just going to fling mud right back and in force. I've seen the opposite happen too. A good person who is respected by many gets run out of business because the internet comes after him with pitchforks and torches just because one customer bitches. Plenty of people who had no experience with this individual jumped on the bandwagon to bash him for no reason.

One more call letting him know that this is going to be your next move might just produce the desired result.

Might save you some aggravation, too.

Jus' sayin'.

Yup.
Send a email to the vendor with a link to this thread. Then ask them how they think this thread will end. Hope things work out for you.

its funny buickmike bc this is one of the "good ones". this was my first time dealing with him and last. I feel like this is past the calling/email point. only call that was ever returned was when i was purchasing the part. lack of communication is what bothers me the most. he didn't have to chase me for my money. thx for all the input and the feeling that I'm not being too anxious or hot headed. also if i receive it after my write up am i wrong to refuse delivery?

It saddens me to hear about this. We need vendors to sell us parts. We are a small knit community. Hopefully, There's a logical reason for this, the vendor makes it right and we never hear who it is.

I browsed vendor feed back specials etc tosee if there was an announcement or something happened but nothing. Im a pretty understanding guy and will work with anyone as long as they are willing to.work with me.
