Hi Guys
Just recieved my fuel pump and plug and play harness kit from racetronics. Have directions but have never done one before. Anything you all had to learn the hard way that could save me a few cuss words. I'm pretty slow to begin with. Can you tell any difference when you hooked up...or is just for bigger mods than I already have. I do know when I screwed the pressure to it from the regulator and took it to about 40lbs..I could here the old pump moaning down pretty hard. I would imagine that to be a sign of old and tired as it is original. Thanks for any replys.

Pretty easy , the only thing i had a problem with is the ring on top of the gas tank, it was hard to get it to lock and not mess up the o ring.

It just go's in the same way you pull the old one out .:)

good luck

Hi Matthew,

You do away with the pulsator and replace it with the piece of hose supplied. Once done it should look like the picture posted in the web ad here:

Here are the instructions for the wiring harness:

Tip!!!

Make sure the grove where the o-ring sits is very clean. You can use some gas from the tank and a clean rag to clean the lip.
Place a thin film of silicon grease supplied with the kit on the o-ring. This will prevent it from grabbing and allow it to slide easily into the groove when the lock ring is rotated back into place.
