Just to let everyone who's into this sort of thing.....

We were in Walmart yesterday and with our grandaughter so of course spent time in the toy dept. I wandered off to the radio controlled part of the dept since I'm not into dolls.

There is a plastic bodied Turbo-T, radio controlled. Purple. 26" wheels. High. Uglier than my mother-in-law. Bulge hood. $40.00.

They called it an 87 Regal. It reminded me of that one on Ebay that was like 80 feet off the ground.

Thought I'd mention it for those of you who have Buick vehicle collections.

Ya I saw that the other day and got a laugh out of it. I really wonder sometimes what the requirements are for the person in charge of designing those RC cars:rolleyes:

My mother-in-law has bought one of these for my son for Christmas. :frown: I knew she hated me.

It's all in fun when it comes to kids but watch out if you son starts wanting 25's on your Regal

Ahhhhh. You think a purple Turbo-T is ugly, look at this! I went to WalMart.com to see if the remote car was on the site. I searched on the word 'Regal' and these books popped up. What abominations!

Go look in the model section also. My local wal-mart had a burgandy pinkish 'grand national' model on the 22 inch rims. Words cannot do it justice.

I'm on eBayUK at least once a week and I see these pop up every once in awhile. Basically they are three wheelers to avoid some astronomical road and sales tax that a four wheeler has to pay. That yellow one at the top almost looks like a Chevette from the doors back. I'd rather have one of those than some 30" wheeled and lifted monstrousity.

I saw those a couple of months back. Made want to puke! Whoever designed that needs their a@@ removed. I have always wanted an r/c TR and now this!

That model also comes with regular GN wheels so you can build it to look like a normal TR and not a Donk.

Thanks for sharing this thread!

I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to look for one of these Turbobuick Remote Control Cars, for me and my Kids!
