I spent this afternoon/evening porting the intake for my Blazer motor (85 GN setup in '83 S-10 Blazer 4x4)

Will this be benificial or is the bottle neck the path fron the turbo to runner area?

i couldn't give you a flow number or a Hp number but I did the same thing on mine when I had the intake off. I matched the intake to the gasket and with a new valve train and new injectors the car is running like a totally fresh motor. Personally for me it was worth cleaning it up. The local GN shop wanted to charge me $175 for doing what I did to mine, so think of it that way buddy, you saved yourself that much money.

I'm glad to hear that a simple cleanup will improve performance. I have a spare intake and set of heads that I plan on doing a similar cleanup job on before spring.

Doug are you thinking about doing any work to the egr or turbo inlet as well? I think that would be benificial as well.
