i have a couple of friends that run alky systems in their cars and im looking to put one in my wrx sti

i am looking to do a diy kit and i can get most parts for free cause i have parts laying around from my NOS install(such as nozzels, lines, fittings) and i work at a speed shop and get random stuff for free(such as a better turbo and intercooler and free bottle of NOS)

what im looking to do is get the washer fluid bottle from the pick and pull place and the pump that goes to it. than install a float switch to tell me when im low on fluid and so i dont start pumping air also i will control when the system is on/off by a in cab switch

my question is can i use the pump for the washer fluid for the allk system?

Sure you can, but they don't spray much, put two or three in parallel with Y blocks and measure your pressures (gauge) into the nozzle(s) you will be using then you will have your flow rate.

It's simple math not rocket science.

Also some pumps flow better than others, but most likely you will need more than 1 pump.

I'd look at a cheap Northern Hydraulics DIY pump setup with ethanol, lots of DIY guys have over 10 years on those pumps with that alky. with no issues.

And it flows a ton more than a w.w. pump.
