Does lengthening the rod add boost or take away? Thought I better ask before playing with it. thanks Tim

lengthening lowers boost.

shortening it adds boost.

Better yet, put an adjustable bleeder valve on the ports and then you can adjust boost on the fly without having to mess with a scorching hot wastegate rod.
