I bought a dp from gbody parts about 3 1/2 years ago. The other day i noticed that the shaft the puck is attached to slides up and down. Is this normal? I dont remember if it did this when i installed it years ago. I know all dp are not made the same so it would be great if some body with the same down pipe reply, but all replies would be appreciated. Its a 3 inch thdp. Thanks guys, there is also a video attached

Never seen that happen before. Definately not good.

My G-Body 3" did that right out of the box. I put a tiny tack weld on the inside to hold it in one place. Lined it up over centre, maked it & a little zap & its fine.

thanks guys. Been chasing a turbo lag issue and was wondering if this might have caused it.

this is what i got when i did a puck test while i held the shaft up so it wouldnt slide down. If i let it slide down it was even worse.
