Wastegate solenoid - who makes one aftermarket?

The GM# is 1997157, and was discontinued in '05. There is one guy on eBay with one for sale for $125, which seems like a rape in progress since the GM list was only $38.83 when the part was available. I understand that its no longer available, but $125 seems pretty steep...

I'm getting a code 31 on my scanmaster. When theCATman and I were tuning my car last night, we noticed that the connector lock was broken off. I can still get the connector from GM, and have that coming tomorrow. That may fix the issue, but if I need a wastegate valve, is there a company out there that offers one aftermarket that is reasonably priced?

Supply and demand. The new list price becomes X when they are no longer manufactured and that was 5 years ago. No company makes a direct aftermarket replacement. No exisitng GM parts interchage either.

If you are interested in new, that price is not out of the park.

I have a couple used ones ($75) and 1, maybe 2 new ones ($150) I bought years ago.
