Wastegate Spring rates ?

Looking to pick up a pair ot Tial F41 Wastegates for my SBC 400 cube TT project . What would be the best spring rate for a street/strip on 94 Octane/EFI/intercooled ? what max boost should I be looking at ? should the spring rate equal half of that and the controler will be able to double that rate ? external gate first time user .

IMHO.... pick a spring that is where you want the min boost to be... i.e. launch boost..... and let a good boost controller and CO2 do the rest...

IMHO.... an 8# or 10# spring would be about right....

Yep...the number 8# is what I was thinking of using . thanks .
