im looking into to buying a light car like a datsun or even a miata to put a v8 in...i figure i could tear the pis$ out of it and not really worry about it...so idk if i should put the money into the grand national or do this project what do ya'll think?

There was a company called Monster Motorsports. I don't know if they are still around but they do(did?) Ford 5.0 motor installs into the Miata. Sort of a modern day Cobra. They even had a supercharged "King" version. IIRC it seemed to be pretty straightforward. I don't think they had to do any body mods, just some chassis stuff. They may have a swap kit available if they are still operating. I always thought it would be a blast to drive but I wouldn't get rid of my Regal for one.

Monster Motorsports is retty much a thing of the past. The did stuff 5.0s into Miatas, and it was a fairly straightforward swap.

Me? I'd be thinking LC2 or even a hotair engine- less weight, more potential.

o im not considering getting rid of my TR for one...i dont plan on spending $6000 to build this thing either haha...some good ol' hillbilly ingenuity would work with this i think! more so i was wondering what ya'll would do as far as putting the money into building something like that or put my money into the regal and buy alky and such...

V-8 Archie -- Pontiac Fiero V-8 Kits and Kit Cars This is a cool, cheap, and fairly strightforward swap. I found one online, although I can't remember where. This guy put a ZZ430 crate motor in a 5 speed Fiero and was killing ZO6 Vettes with it....

them are pretty sweet...my grandpa had one of these v-8 308 Replica For Sale but it was the real thing

i dont know how the people selling them are expecting to get 13,000 to 16,000 for them you can buy the real ferrari for $20,000 or a little higher

Mazda's with a Buick  :p
