Tried the search feature but I guess I don't know the best key words to use and didn't find the answer to this question. After 21 years the water pump on the GN is starting to leak. I seem to remember years ago that the ATR folks sold a "high output" water pump for these cars. Is there such a replacement or is any reman unit just as good? Opinions appreciated. Thanks. Dean

A stock replacement water pump would be fine for a street car. You want better cooling, get a good radiator. My car runs around 160-170 with the front mount intercooler and with the stock water pump.

Have to agree with Carr: for street use an OE style pump is fine, I personally stay away from reman units, maybe just paranoid in my old age but most new pumps carry a lifetime warranty.
