Well fellas, just the basic stuff. My brother is buying one next week from Mike on the "other" forum and I would just like to know what makes it so special. I know they only made 1547 but what are the differences from other TRs. Thanks! Here it is:
Yea it has 66,000 garage kept miles on it. No rust anywhere. So basically it it a T-Type with black bumpers, and no emblems, right? Any other items? Are the bumpers steel like the GN? They have aluminum bumper supports also? Anything else? Thanks!
Bumper supports 'should' be aluminum but you never know until you check(Use a magnet).
Has T emblem behind front wheels on each side. 3.8 SFI turbo emblems on both sides of hood bulge and deck lid. Has BUICK on deck lid.
Has BUICK on front grille.
Does not have REGAL on rear quarter panels.
Does not have "diverdown" emblem on sail panel behind quarter windows.
Does not have limited under the REGAL on the rear quarters as a Limited would.
No GN or Intercooled emblems.
On a side note I like the intercooled emblems on the '86 models under the T-Type on the front fenders. Very cool.
