Thanks, The blue is candy over silver but the pics look
like hell compared to reality.
Now I have to finish the exhaust manifolds, downpipe and
turbo housing.

Powder coat

Is that high temp powdercoat? They Look great are you also going to paint your TB and VC's the same color.

The cross over, Dp and manifolds and turbo Exhaust housing are polished Cemakrome with a 2000 deg.
insulator under them. This should keep them from
bluing or popping.

The 2 round turbo houising brackets are a experiment
They are powder but they will be bolted to a turbo housing that has been coated with a insulator and cermakrone.
Redusing the amount of heat that they will see. And
removing under hood temps. Atleast thats the plan.

CeramiKrome

RMAR That stuff really looks good like polished nickel/SS man it actually resists up to 2000 degrees wow that has got to be one of the highest level of thermal protection. This stuff looks so good go to Alloyboltz.com get some Stainless to bolt it all together. 231 Buick V6 Turbo 161 piece SS allen-bolt kit for $55.

No, the cermakrome is only good to 1500 egt 1300 metal
But if you put a 2000 deg thermal barrier down first
cure it and then lightly blast it. you can then put the cermakrome over that . the thermal barrier greatly reduces
the surface temp.

Thats funny, We were just talking about hardware SS at the shop before I left
Thanks for the link.

I've done several turbo housings with the ceramic blacks.
But this is going to be lab rat turbo for getting the
SS/ Chrome look without it turning.

Sun

Going to stay home today. I'll finish the turbo housing
and manifolds mon/ tues and post pics. Oh and the Dp
if I get my wb02 tiged in. All with the Chrome

Cool...
