weird 2-3 shift...fresh tranny

just got the car back. the 1-2 shift is nice and firm. the 2-3 shift is weird. it feels like it's sliding into 3rd. kinda like its slipping or such. ne one know what to do to fix it? or what the cause is? TIA

May be too much clearance in the direct clutch pack, servo or direct clutch piston seals.

wow...only if i knew the answer to those ?s....i'm gonna have to talk to the builder and get this figured out. thanks for your input guys, its all foreign to me, but i'm sure it will help.
