A few weeks ago, on the next pass after my "12", the tranny let go.
I had the car flatbedded to Dynotech on Saturday. I talked to Eric this morning. There is no internal pressure, and the tranny is slipping very badly. It is yet to be determined what the cause is (pump, broken convertor, etc.).
Anyway, I'm going with his "Street/Strip" package with the 12", 24-2800 lockup convertor and a HD tranny cooler. What's everyone think?
According to Eric, touching nothing else on the car, I'll pick up .2-.3 with this tranny/convertor combo.
Hopefully, I can get to Atco this weekend!
