Went to paint Feb. 26th and almost done... pics inside.

I took my car to paint Feb. 26th. I thought I'd post some pics of what it looked like before we started and how it's coming as of today. We had to strip 80% of the paint off plus we counted about 30 door/grocery cart dings around the sides. It's ready to be block sanded and shoved in the paint booth. I can't wait it to be ready so I can start on the interior.

I have more pics but this is about as many as I can fit. I'll post more up when I get it back hopefully later this week...

pretty exciting it's lookin good. Mine looks about the same as yours started off. I've got it stripped and doing the bodywork myself(long way to go). Good luck, post more later.

I can't wait until I am able to start on mine (need to sell the other car first). I noticed that you are in my "home away from home" city. I spend a fair amount of time in PC Beach.

And why are the bumpers still on the car?

Good start ... You should have your painter pull door handles and locks, mirrors, trim around the front and rear glass and the quarter windows... I see he's working around them... And he should have pulled the bumpers. Keep us posted....

Bumpers are getting pulled this week. He is repainting the door handles, grill, headlight bezzels and keyholes along with window molding flat black and clear coating the rest of the car. All that will be removed this week. Car hopefully will be done next week :biggrin:
