It was bout 75 degrees here in North MS today , Only made two passes , 1ST was 7.7788 with a 60ft 1.7374 @ 21 LBS of Boost , 2ND was 7.6672 with a 60ft. 1.6992 @ 24 LBS of Boost . I was pretty happy with those passes and I do believe she has more in her , you can read my upgrades in my sig. and the car weighed 3502 lbs with no driver .

Nice runs Keith..........what size and make of rear tire are you running? Trans and converter upgrades?

I'm running the MT ET/SS 275/60 and stock tranny and converter . The tires hook very very good and I know i'm loosing alot with the tranny and converter . David H will be getting a call when she goes

So after you guys reading this how bout some advice on a better time and a 60 ft ? and reading my upgrades in my sig

We was leaving bout 5lbs of boost . The next step is some wheel cylinders and longer shoes . Gonna try to put her on a diet and upgrade some suspension .

Well either I'm useless at the wheel or somethings wrong with my combo cuz I'm only managing a 1.66 60' and leaving with more boost and a 9.5'' converter on a new Pro radial

After the s10 cylinders and long shoes, you will probably be leaving the line at about 10 lbs of boost, and lack of traction may become a problem at that point, so as you said suspension upgrades would be a good next step.
You could also remove the front sway bar and do the 90/10 shocks for some weight loss and better weight transfer, along with relocating the battery to the trunk, though these may affect some street handling, and the upgraded rear brakes could also get a bit grabby in wet conditions, so in the quest for better 60's your car may start to get a bit less street friendly ,it all just depends how far you want to go,but these mods are all cheap and easily reversible,if need be.
Also your car being a gn has about a 50/50 chance of having the steel bumper supports instead of the aluminum, have you checked yet to see if you have the aluminum ? vd6 and vd7 are the codes for them on your rpo code tag.
You can also get brackets to completely remove the bumper support if you choose to.
These suggestions are mostly geared towards free or inexpensive mods to help improve your already not too bad 60 ft times (for your combo),which will also lower your et.

Just saw that you made it to the track and my .02. According to Wallace racing calculator 7.66 @ 89.23 is a 12.14 @110 MPH in the 1/4. Not to bad for the upgrades I see in your car. The better brakes and wheel cyl. would be a very good upgrade. This should get you a good 5-8 lbs more boost off the line and that sure makes a difference. With your stock motor this will get you well into the 11's. Good luck and keeping boost at that level will make your engine have a longer life!!!!

My goal is 11s with a street friendly car . I know my stock tranny and converter is holding me back some as well as the suspension upgrades . I'm gonna get some wheel cylinders and long shoes maybe this week . Thanks for the reply's

Your already in the area where you need to upgrade the trans.loading the car off the ebrake and leaving harder will drop your et but fast track your trans grade;)

Hey Buddy , In short I have all the bolt on's and the major stuff is a TA49 , GN1 front mount and 60lbs injectors plus Alky
