Might need a new one and know they do not make new ones only rebuild so were have most people had the best luck buying them from? My last one was from advance auto not sure if its bad no code but just not sure tried one I had as a spare and it may be bad when its hooked up throttle has a dead spot well noticed when ,I unhooked it dead spot went away and also 2 times when,I unhooked it idle went crazy high so may need to get a new one to try so anyone?

Easiest way to tell with a tuning device is if it will go to 255 under WOT. If not replace it. I bought and returned 3 different ones until I found a reman unit that would do it. Sucks, but thats what you have to do to find a good one, or go aftermarket and translator.

Kirban

TPS can have a dead spot as well.

Got mine from Kirbans, not sure if I want to sell it, it's nice to have a knock good used one as a backup. Most just go with a LT1/LS MAF with a translator.
