Guys, I'd like opinions on the value of my car. I was in a accident last week and need opinions.

T-Type WH-1 138,000 miles

Options: Rear defog, remote right mirror, power windows, AC, tilt, power trunk release(added), posi (added), power drivers seat, cruise control, delay wipers, power antenna, and thats about it.

Mods I made are in my sig. I think my insurance company will total it.

Pic is attached. :(

 Ouch!
If you want what it was worth I'd say around $7k
Is there any frame damage? If not all you may need is a front clip and other misc. parts to get her back up? but not totally sure by the pic.
Good Luck..

HOLY $HIT!!!!!!!!!!

ouch man, are you okay? I would say that CHARGED is pretty close with the 7-8K range. What happened?

Guys, Im fine. Wasnt paying well enough attention and I'm paying for it now. Hit a pickup truck in the rear when I couldn't stop. Slid about 75 feet with the brakes locked. Road condidtions in Delaware arent the greatest. The state likes to dump alot of salt for a miniscule amount of snow and ice.

Minor frame damage from what I can tell. Only damage I can see is where the core support bolt ripped through the hole in the frame during the accident. Motor looks okay, although the power steering is damaged, as well as the master cylinder.

We'll see what they offer. I am prepared to "negotiate", however.

whatever they give you... im sure you can offer to buy back the car and try to part it out yourself... if everything was in decent shape you should be able to pull in quite a bit of money for everything... i sold just my interior and got a lil over 1000$ total... so this might not be a total loss for ya

sorry for what happened... i almost rear ended someone this morning sliding on the salt and it is not a good feeling...

best of luck with the car !

why piece it out ??? looks like an easy fix to me ... frame cant be that bad because ya went above it . any buckles in the roof ???

I say 7-8 grand.
Also, I'd try to buy it back and fix it, less than 500 WH-1s made in 1986, I know I'll NEVER let my 85 WH1 go, regardless of what happens to it

No, the roof isnt buckled. The trunk lid is shifted though. Gaps are tighter on the DS than they are on the PS. Plus it isnt sitting level. Minor motor and frame damage. Pending the outcome with the insurance company, I'd like to put it on a frame rack just to be sure its still straight. Might as well do new body bushing as well. I think the body shifted some, however.

We'll see what happens. Actual mileage of my car 137,660 as it sits. Gonna go get a tarp today and cover it up.
