Is the GT42-76 about the only one that has a chance in a 3500lb car? Full on center S2, chapman headed car with a "healthy" solid roller.

I understand everything else has to be spot on including the tune.

The event we want to run in this fall has a the following turbo rules

Turbocharger (manual transmission): Limited to 80mm single or 60mm twins. Air to air intercoolers only. May combine with Nitrous.
Turbocharger (auto transmission): Limited to a 76mm single or 58mm twins. Air to air intercoolers only. May combine with Nitrous. (Nitrous is prohibited on Domestic V6 engines. REV 10/03/08)
Minimum Weight: None

Have a Y2K-88 now but that would force us to run in the next class which would require the car to run mid 8's to have a shot.

Thanks.

It depends on how much money you want to spend. There are better 76mm's. I have a customer running mid-8's on a 275-60 drag radial.
