Hey Julio, I bought a WB setup at the Nats along with the Gen2 Translator to hook up and control fueling with the WB automatically..cool stuff.
Anyway, got the WB all setup, but have not installed the Gen2 yet.
I'm currently running about 10.7 AFR at 15# boost, and then about 11.0AFR at 20# and about 11.2AFR at 25#.

I know these are on the fat side, but I use to target about 11.5 with just race fuel on the dyno. With methanol injection and pump gas, what should I be targeting for a good safe tune?
With the stock O2 I targeted around 790-800mv. I have Mototron 60# inj and they are working at about 54% DC at WOT and 20# boost.

Thanks

Check the sticky " tuning the alky control kit " Julio gave some AFR's that gave him the most power gain.......... your at it.

Thanks, found it.

If using a Wide Band sensor, shoot for a target of 11.8-12.0 which is sometimes difficult with our cars due to the MAF and ecm. Typically 11.5-12.0 you'll be fine. If a specific number..11.9-12.0 is my own preference.

On a scanmaster.. 770-780's

I need to lean it out just a tad more and will program the Gen2 for those target ARFs...can't wait to wire it up!

On my car I find it likes 11.2 AFR.

Results may vary.. start rich and then work on leaning it out.. only lean it out if it makes more power.. Running high AFR can lead to issues.. bad ones.. Keep it at low 11's for air fuel, you'll be OK.

Alrighty, looks like I didn't need this WB after all since I had it perfectly tuned based on the stock O2 reading :D No, I'm really fat below 15# though, guess thats why it doesn't feel like its making much power below 15#..or maybe its because 20+ is such a bigger rush :D

I'm hoping that once I get the Gen2 wired in with the WB O2 that it will adjust quickly enough to compensate for the alky coming on without making a 2nd set of fueling tables in the Gen2 to use with a trigger voltage from the alky, but we'll see. I'm hoping that will work cause then if for some reason the alky pump gets a clogged nozzle or the pump starts to peter out for some reason, the Gen2 fueling will automatically add more gas to compensate...at least to a point. Since I only run 24# I think that would buy me some time to pull off the gas when the knock guage lights up.
Remember the thread a while back where you were trying to devise a way to cut spark or cut of the engine of the alky pressure dropped off...this might be a solution for that if it compensates fast enough..course if you are running insane boost psi it wouldn't help. I'm still the only one in my club running alky full time as the biggest fear is pump failure since 3-4 members had that happen on the old style BG and smc kits. I can run 21# with pump gas and no alky and see only a degree or two of knock with my setup, so a second or 2 at 24# with no alky shouldn't hurt too bad if this works fine.
