Fresh rebuild, shifts firm, but sometimes at WOT it will hold the 1-2 shift a little late. Still shifts, just kind of bucks (don't know how to describe it), then shifts. Really odd feeling.

Also, sometimes after a WOT run the pedal will feel loose and it will stay in 3rd gear until I kick the throttle.

Just reset it in an attempt to fix the problem.

Another weird thing. Pulled it all the way towards the firewall and went full throttle (key off of course). It ratcheted forward, but only one click. Get in, drive it, shifts REALLY late. Had to adjust it myself to get it to shift at the right spot.

Stretched?

Kenny, those things can be a real pain. If someone before had it adjusted to tight it could be screwed up. It took me a week to get mine figured out. It seemed fine and then it would slip or shift really late.

It may be a stretched spring in the TV valve assembly itself, causing a long spring syndrome. late hard shifts, odd down shifts are sometimes caused by this. info: www.tvmadeez.com
