Sorry non-TR question, but dying to know the answer. not much luck using google. only found 5 speed Mopar, but not make & model. what cars utilize Syncromesh Transmissions?

Almost any car manufactured since probably the late 50's had "synchro mesh"
transmissions, certainly all muscle cars in the 60's had it... synchro mesh is not a brand, but a method of synchronizing gears for easier shifting. Without it you pretty much have to double clutch or really know how to drive.

I think mid-60's is when they became more popular.

I had a '66 Mustang when I was a teenager, and it had a non-syncro trans in it. It was a 200 I6 with a 3spd on the floor.

After I broke that trans, I think we replaced it with a '67 or '68 trans that had syncros in it.

Almost every manual transmission since the mid 50's was synchronized or at least partially synchronized.
