What causes fusible links to keep blowing?

Twice so far, under WOT, my fusible links to the starter have blown. I know that something is putting too much of a load on the wires, but which ones should I look for to have bare spots or loose connections? It gets tiring to keep crawling under this dirty car...life of a turbo Buick owner, eh?

Has your transmission been out? Sometimes the the dip stick is behind the wire bundle binding it against the engine. Happened to me.

which one is it?? all of them? i will check my manual, but there i 3 there i believe AB & E i had blown my E and it was b/c a short in the fan harness grounded , its all fixed now...
