Isolators are fine if you like listening to your system with engine off. Or you can just have a egm battery in your trunk matching your starting battery in amps and have them wired parallel make sure to have them fused no more then 12 inches apart..... depending on your RMS run appropriate gauge wire. Anything over 1500 should but doesn't have to be 0 gauge
