I believe it's green. I not able to confirm the color @ this time @ work but pretty sure it's a green wire. I think there was a wire same color attached to one of the relays also not 100 percent on that either.
 
Your pic did not come through. If it is a single green wire to a connector it may go to the high speed fan switch located on the front driver's top side of the intake manifold.
 
Ah darn. Let me give it another go. If its for the fan that might make sense I do recall it being plugged into the manifold. I am planning to get dual fans with either caspers fan relay kit or painless one would I still need that connector to run the new aftermarket relays?

Pic still didn't come through. In stock form the ECM controls at what temp the low speed fan comes on-it is programmed in the chip. The high speed fan is controlled by the switch on the intake manifold. I can't say how non stock set ups turn the fans on.
 
K I pretty sure I can do away with that connector. I could always hardwire a switch into the dash that controls fan @ high speed worst case but I will get into contact with Caspers and see what my options are thanks for the replies fellas
