Here is the problem. My plugs on cylinders 1 & 4 are not firing; the others are. A little late my coil pack boiled to a leak. I figured it must be a bad coil pack or ignition module so I replaced both. I have also replaced the crank sensor. However they still are not firing. I have some extra wires so swapped the spark plug wires on those cylinders, still no spark. The plugs are new and gapped the same as the others. I checked and rechecked the wiring from the module to the coil pack and everything is hooked up right. The MSD DIS-4 unit isn't installed so it isn't the source. I thought that it might be a bad ground to the CCCI module so I ran a ground wire from the firewall to the module bolts, but still no change. Could it be the crank sensor isn't reading the interupter right? I am going to try sanding the thin layer of paint off the interupter and see if that makes a difference. Anyone ever come across this problem?

Update: repositioned the cam sensor, but now voltage is only 5v before drop off? The car was almost running but now it won't start, it just cranks over - I am going to check for spark again. Could I have a bad ign module, bought it from NAPA. Could my ECM have something to do with the problem? I know it controls injector firing, but where does it come into play with the ignition module?

I give up. I have spark and fuel and I've timed everything, but I still can't get it to start at all. In fact, I am further from starting now than I was a week ago. My cam signal is only 5 volts and I can't seem to figure out why! I think this has a lot to do with my problem but don't know what could cause it! I've changed out the ignition module and still can't figure out the problem.

Does anyone know any mechanics who are good with our engines?
