hmm, I traded a 1990 eagle talon for my GN.....I bought the car as a winter beater for 500 bucks....the kid who had the gn wanted to trade the talon +1000 bucks. think I got a good deal

$5k (of 1995 vintage dollars) at 145k miles. on its 2nd motor, and had a set of monte mufflers with the pipes bent the GN way. Thanks Dad!

6K for a Chicago rust bucket on E-bay, dropped 3K more on the half #$$ body work, still needs floorpans installed. Ran great though(just finished rebuild). 9K for the wifes T top from Jax thats absolutely awesome!(e-bay also). Lessons learned: you must be PATIENT, the right car will come, and the first time you feel that thing push you in the seat, you'll be hooked.

$23,500 for a 424 mile all factory, late build GN bought last year. Still had the window sticker which has been there so long a clear image of it is on the glass. Needless to say it still smells new and I've been driving it. Go to a new car dealer and climb into a brand new car, that's like sitting in my GN today. People think I'm nuts and they're entitled to their opinion but there's nothing like stepping 16 years back in history.

My $.02.

Paid $7000.00 for my 87 GN
64,000 miles and bone stock
Currently undergoing frame up resto.
I hate rust
But who cares! people spend 20,000 + on new supposed "fast" cars and I still whoop em'

:D

Traded a 1970 GTO "NOM"

I figger the GTO was worth about 12 to 13 k
Bought the GTO for 7k * dumped about 5k into it.

For an 19k miles GN I thought the trade was well worth it.

Bought mine from a local new car dealer back in 95, paid $8500.00 with 143,000 miles, clean with a few mods.

Now 8 years later I have about 18,000 in the car, that includes the purchase price and it's worth about 10-12K.

Mine was $13,500 back in the spring of 1990; bone stock with 25k miles. Came with an extra ECU w/ Hypertech chip in it and a new K&N air filter in the box. I've enjoyed putting an extra 200,000 miles on it since.

Bought mine for 5,500 and it needed a header panel and some misc trim. Body shop took about $900 to fix things.
Was running high 12s, and had the basic recipe stuff done.
Oh and a 10 disc remote CD setup with some power amps and decent speakers, all in all a nice car that needed some work.

I've put 40K miles on it.
Best car I've ever owned.

$ 18,700 new in may of 88. Dealer had 2 left. That was sticker on it.
Glad I bought it. :D

I bought mine off EBAY for $1051, kinda a mess but with a new shortblock ( I think  ) . Think I've worked thru most of the problems............if I ever get a downpipe we'll see how it runs

I paid $2000 for mine. I put on new rockers, doors, and rear quarters and repaired the floor pans. I did all new T-Top seals, carpet, and front seats(back ones were fine). Oh yeah, and a new coat of paint.

Probably more work than most would do to an 84 GN, but I love the car.

It was and still in completely stock.

I paid 8k for mine with 46,000 on it,I got it from a car lot,the guy was STUPID,completely stock except it had for some crazy reson 009 injectors, the car was a complete dog.I test drove the car to a freind of mine, and he told me to buy it and put the stockers back in,I did,and loved it ever since (3years).:D

$7500, about three and a half hours ago. I've been in love with this car since the first time I saw it and am looking forward to a beautiful future together. Thanks NickG!

87' GN, 53K miles, T-Tops, almost every option except Twilight Sentinel, Turbonetics Stage 4 Turbo, 009s, THDP with electric cutout (this thing is so much fun). Even came with some extra things for me to put on, seat braces and the like.

Pait $12,500 for mine, almost stock except for Kenne-Bell ram air, 33# inj, nasty old 2.25" ATR exhaust, T-tops and 23K miles. I was pretty happy with the deal I got.

Can't even think of how much I've dumped into it in xtras. :o All it really needed was a good detailing but as usual, I went way overboard. And I'm still not done! :D

I paid $10,500 in January of 2000 for the Buick in my sig.

It already had a fuel pump, adj fpr, blue top injectors, K&N, adj wastegate act., and a couple of chips. 51,000 miles (I've put 8,000 more miles on it since)

White exterior, blue interior, moderately optioned.

Worth every penny in my book.

That's what I paid for my 84 and that's what my 84 needs too in addition to an engine rebuild...maybe we are nuts, but there's something special about an 84...
