I think I have to relocate the line to the bottom of the tank,,or will the sure flo pump prime itself??

I wouldn't think so considering the metal cans it comes in. Though, I've never seen it in aluminum.

I use a similar plastic tank and mounted it underhood.
I'll post pics when it's done.

I ran one of those go-kart tanks for a short while. I left the top feed line (which goes to the bottom internally) and mounted the pump lower then the tank. It ened up being too small. I got tired of filling it all the time.
Now I use an Econo Rail tank: http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2506&prmenbr=361

It holds 3 gallons. Mounted it on the package tray.
