what does different spine # in posi do?

What is the difference between say a 28 spline and 30 spline in a posi rear differential? Thanks!

the spline# on a posi is the # of splines on the axle ends , means if you buy a 30 spline posi you need to have 30 spline axles to use it , stock are 28 spline
the more splines on an axle the larger the axle diameter can be , and the greater the axle strength will be .
