Apparently a THDP for use with a Delta-gate is not available. Is everybody using ATR's then? What about Mease Performance...anybody using one of these with a DG? Sure like to hear your experiences. The car has a PT-52, DG and Poston's headers. Which DP would you recommend?
Thanks for your input,
Jim

On my wifes car I run a THDP and have the deltagate mounted on the crossover underneath. It vents out into the atmosphere, some like it that way some don't it depends on your preference.

Best of luck.

Is there a pipe made specifically for the Delta gate so that you don't have to mount it on the crossover?

The only thing I can find out there is p/n DP301DG from ATR. Apparently it's an SS 3" pipe with a Delta-Gate flange on it. I thought there were a lot more guys running DG's than this, but based on the replies, I guess not.
Thanks for chiming in to those that did.
Jim

delta gate

Hello,
I wanted to buy an ATR DP and use my Delta gate to keep cost down but Atr says the Delta gate would not fit. They said i would have to use theirs. Don't really want to spend the extra for their external gate though.

Weird, ATR provided me with the part number and told me that the DG part of their part number meant it was designed to accept the Delta-Gate only.

give us a call I can set you up with a vendor to supply you with this product, they are custom built (made to order) so that particular group of vendors may want a deposit just to make sure it doesnt sit on their shelf for a year

Good luck

Great! ATR didn't seem too very motivated to my e-mails so I would like to deal with someone enthusiastic. I don't need to leave a deposit, I want to purchase one ASAFP. I'll call you tomorrow.
Thanks for the reply,
Jim

I have a turbonetics stage III turbo with the mount on the turbine housing for the delta gate. That's where I have the delta gate mounted and that exits into a 3 inch Mease downpipe that is specifically made for that application. The downpipe blocks off the original wastegate hole. The problem I have now is when it's cold outside, and the motor makes some real power, the wastegate is too small to control boost. Boost climbs over 18 lbs with the delta gate opened all the way. With a xylene mix in the tank, it works fine, but 93 octane gets you over 5 degress kr before i can get a chance to lift. I bought a Tial wastegate to mount on the crossover now. I also think that the gate mounted on the crossover would be much more efficient. There's no reason to send that extra exhaust up thru that puny passenger side header only to go thru a wastegate and come back down the downpipe. That's my $.02 , Good, Jeff
