what fuel filter to use?

I would like a polished Edelbrock unit with the washable stainless steel filter disc for easy cleaning. Edelbrock has a
large filter-15.3 gpm
small filter-6 gpm
My car is stock for now but I want to be able to safely tune for maximum performance as I upgrade .

Anyone using any filter other than Edelbrock or Ac Delco?
Also how much gpm does the stock AC Delco filter?
