I am building a TA block 4.1, ported TA heads, 70bb turbo, etc I have a razors single nozzle now. btw I love it!! What fuel pump should I upgrade to and what injector size is needed? I plan on running low tens I hope with pump gas and alky only. I know some are running single walbro, but that seems a little dangerous to me:confused: esp low tens.
Thanks for any help!!

I would ditch the 70bb and get a 70gtq...

Friends here and there are running low 10s with ONE single 340 pump, and a dual nozzle Julio Meth kit..... You will actually drown the motor out if you run a double pumper and try and run alot of methanol...

you would need a least a double pumper or external pump, even with alky.
I just do not want to hurt this motor, cost to much money to build.
thanks!

Low 10s with one walbro 340??? what injectors???

Mid 9's for me. 95 lb injectors. 70GTQ 251 Stroker. Feed both rails. XFI Tuned

How is this possible, I didnt think one of any intank pump would take you into the 10's let alone the 9's where is the pump mounted???

Intank Double Pumper will get you into the low 10's. I have upgraded to the pump you see in the top of the post from SX Performance. External and will feed enough to hit 9's easily.

The fastest 109 pump+alky car runs a single 340 and a twin nozzle alky setup. High 9's 138.

I've run 133 on a single walbro 307 and twin nozzle setup.

Its like this. You look at fuel pressure going down the track. As long as the needle stays where it needs to be.. your set. Or datalog it... most of the newer dataloggers will allow a 0-5 input.. get a pressure transducer and record your fuel pressure.

I didnt think i was wrong i was speaking about this post, statement. I didnt see the one about the SX.

I wouldn't run your 4.1 70BB with a single Walbro with how things are going at Walbro this year. I'd put in a single Bosch 044 and twin nozzles so you can bring the fuel no doubt.

83lbs injectors are pretty common on big turbo motors and I would ditch the stock feed and return even if you do an intank pump. -10 and -8 would be ideal but -8 and -6 are fine too.

Question is do you think your low 10's goal will stay there 3 years from now, doubt it so don't get 60's and a single Walbro on stock lines. Do the twin nozzle upgrade regardless and if worried, send the pump into Razor every year to get rebuilt. ;)
