What goes to this?

Is this nipple from the wastegate solenoid needing a line going to or going from it?

Usually has a litte foam filter on it.

Nothing, it goes to the atmosphere. Like said above it's supposed to have a foam filter on it but majority of the cars on here they have either fallen of taken off so they wouldnt fall off
