What great weather......

This weather is like a swift kick in the balls followed by a punch to the face!

Shoveled the walkway to the garage last night. Two feet covering it right back up over night. Now it is -39 windchill outside and I'm not going to try and shovel it back out. Our dogs don't want to go out to pee or poop!

I just tried going to work in my AWD Trailblazer. Made it about 1/2 mile from my house going 20mph and spun a 360 in the road. There was no one out thank goodness. I came back home. Just a solid sheet of ice around here and -10 on my car thermometer. Saw 5 other cars and one Yukon going about 40. I feel confident he is in someone's front yard right about now. There is no traction out there.

And here I am in 20 degree weather waiting for tomorrow so it'll be in the mid 40's. Of course, by this weekend it will be in the 60's.

And when they hit the ditch, they get out with that glazed over look on their face - as if they were just teleported to this planet and don't know how they got there.
