what headers on a budget for an 87?

are there any headers that are not 600 to 1000 for these cars? i am tired of having the stock headers repaired and i want something that will flow better than the stock ones.

You will probably slow down if you replace the headers with "better flowing" units. Stock headers are not an issue until you are making a lot of HP.

Unfortunately $600+ is what the nice pieces cost.

Have some gussets welded into place and that will prevent the usual cracks.
