Hello,
I'm going out tonight to change the plugs and plug wires on my car. It has been a long time since I have done anything to the car. I was also going to check the fuel pressure. I do have an adjustable regulator. What is the correct pressure at idle? And is the vac line off when pressure is set? I have blue tops, stock turbo, adjustable wastegate. I am getting my alky kit this weekend and plan on installing it as well, I just thought checking the other stuff would also be a good idea.
Anyone?
Thanks, George

Depends on the chip but good starting point is 42-43 lbs(line off)...

Thanks. I have blue tops as injectors and I do have a 93 chip for the blue tops. I have one of the caspers multi chips with the thumbwheel but it is programmed for the stock injectors. So I dont think I can use that chip and expect everything to work just right, unless I have it reprogrammed. I guess that may be a question within itself..
I'll check the pressure tomorrow.

The chip burner suggests a fuel pressure for their own chips. You can vary that baseline a little when tuning. You're correct, the thumbwheel for stock injectors will not work well with your 38 lb. bluetops. Both my Red's 93 and Thrasher 92 for bluetops recommend 45 PSI, vacuum line off at idle.

The thumbwheel is coming out. I found my 93 chip. It is a Caspers Bluetop Performer. Ill set my fuel pressure as you have suggested.
Thanks all!
