What is a buck Stage 2 engine? I tried researching but I dont know what it means.... Was it an option, aftermarket parts? If anyone could inform me I would appriciate it. Thanks.

Stage 2 engines are built from HD parts developed by Buick for racing applications. All S2 parts were available over the counter at your local Buick Dealer. GM doesn't have any parts left to sell. There is a decent supply of parts still floating around if you have enough cash to buy them.

Buick supported racing in Indy, Indy Lights, Busch GN and Drag Racing. Some vendors like TA performance and Champion Heads make heads and a Block.
