What is normal BRF trans temp?

I just got my tranny rebuilt (Thank you Grumpy & Russ) and want to put a temp gauge on it. Gauges range from 100-250 degree to 100-400 degree. If 250 is high enuff I could use a water temp gauge with 2 sending units & a toggle switch. What is the normal temp and high end of ok temp?

i think it should be pretty close to water temp- so around 200 degrees tops.

Cool, someone on a nova board suggested the dual sending units ideal. I guess you could do a sending unit in both trans cooler lines with a toogle switch.

That's what I do for engine oil temp and trans temp.
